If you have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in accounting or in a business related field which was supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting and would like to do challenging work to maintain the integrity of the U.S. Postal Service through independent audits, then you can apply as an entry-level auditor in the Office of the Inspector General of the United States Postal Service. This job pays $31,315.00 to $50,431.00 annually in addition to numerous benefits. As a trainee, your work assignments are selected to provide training in the analytical evaluative aspects of the work and in the appropriate use of such methods and techniques as qualitative and quantitative analysis. Professional certifications (CPA, CIA, FMP, Lean Six Sigma, etc.) and the ability to multi-task are also desirable.
